Sculpted Paintings™ which I created over twenty years ago, creates a three dimensional perspective through the use of applied canvas and mixed media. When the elements of color, light, and texture combine to create an image in my own style it is an experience of seeing what exists in real life with a personal interpretation of what I see.  The impressionist painters, especially Monet were using imagery in a whole new way, lifting the way a viewer saw the world. I hope to convey this in my own work through this unique style I have created.

 My goal is to create art that is of this moment but also captures something timeless. It resonates with one viewing the work as representational although it is not quite accurately realistic. It has a meaning they experience  although that meaning is only found in the use of color or symbolism, or imagery.
